Objectide is an intelligent low-code meta platform that combines AI assistance, visual development, and full-stack flexibility in one environment.
My role was to make that power feel approachable, understandable, and usable without taking away the flexibility that made the platform powerful.
Objectide’s underlying model allowed users to create applications by composing reusable objects, while progressively moving from visual configuration to scripting and full-stack development when required.
Users needed to understand not only what Objectide could do, but how its different capabilities came together to help them build, extend, and reuse applications. The challenge was making that complexity feel like one coherent product, rather than a collection of powerful tools.
Objectide serves several types of people, each approaching the platform with a different goal.
Startups - Want to build and iterate quickly without the cost of a large development team.
Businesses - Need a flexible platform that can support real applications and workflows at scale.
Developers - Want control over APIs, backend logic, scripting and customization.
Designers - Need to work visually, create responsive interfaces and collaborate with developers.
Although their goals differed, they all eventually interacted with the same underlying system.
While the audiences were different, the underlying product wasn't.
